TNTP Teaching Fellows is dedicated to the long-term success of both aspiring teachers and all students, including providing multiple pathways to economic and social mobility. In practice, this means working to ensure that every student has access to a high-quality education where they learn from effective teachers who believe in them and hold them to high standards.

What is the Educator Excellence Collaborative (EEC)?

Talented, effective teachers can impact the lives of their students, but barriers such as program costs, exam fees, and personal expenses while transitioning to teaching keep too many aspiring educators from the classroom.

That’s where TNTP’s Educator Excellence Collaborative (EEC) comes in. The EEC tackles these persistent issues by offering such resources as financial support during summer training, partial tuition assistance, and exam preparation resources. The program offers teachers-in-training the opportunity to build connections with fellow cohort members and experienced educators that help to combat demotivating feelings of isolation.

Individuals enrolled in one of our five Teaching Fellows programs who are eligible for the EEC will receive more information about financial support and program commitments via email.

EEC Financial Support

Financial support is contingent upon program needs. To qualify for assistance, you need to be in good standing with both your program and partner school.

EEC Eligibility

Eligibility requirements for the upcoming EEC cohort will be released soon. Be sure to check back in June for updates.

"Teaching is, “you get to,” not "you have to.” You get to prepare the next generation. That’s amazing."
