This is a critical time for classrooms to be led by highly impactful teachers who are well-trained in teaching, learning, and the social emotional well-being of students.  Expertise in navigating these complexities takes effective training, coaching, and support for educators that is consistent, timely and relevant to their work to establish classrooms that are rigorous in learning, joyful in environment, and accepting in climate and culture.

We provide a platform for advancing educators that is rigorous, engaging, and supportive. We recognize the needs of teachers entering into education and provides supports that are research -based, relevant, and timely. Teachers are provided highly supportive pathways that encourage their success at every stage.

The work of TNTP is critical in professionally advancing teachers to the next level by providing ongoing coaching and support, as well as layers of professional development that not only meets the needs of the individual teacher, but also keeps teachers advanced in effective teaching and learning practices and models that will create equitable learning environments for all students.

Justice is when something that is wrong or has been wrong is made right.  Justice in education means educators at all levels take a critical look at systems and structures that have not been equitable for all students, and work together to make that right.

The importance of making sure that all students experience an educational journey where they feel highly valued in a strong and equitable learning environment. Discrepancies across all educational contexts that need to be re-evaluated, reimagined, redesigned, supported and implemented with high levels of fidelity in order to create an educational landscape where all students feel valued, successful, and college and career ready.
