Hiring for our district and partner schools typically begins in the early spring. Fellows with qualifying test scores and degree-conferred transcripts will receive priority access to the hire process, likely to start in March. Nevada Teacher Corps Fellows will be able to interview with principals they are recommended to meet with by NTC program staff. The decision to accept an offer will be mutually agreeable between the Fellow and the school site. Principals that offer positions during the enrollment season will hold and reserve that position for Fellows in writing. Fellows that renege or withdraw from an accepted position may be withdrawn from Nevada Teacher Corps. Fellows that do not secure a teaching position during the enrollment season will have opportunities to meet with, be observed by, and interview with principals at a time that aligns to certification and program hours during PST and the late summer.
