Why do you think educators are so important right now?
Educators are so important right now because they have the influence to affect change in classrooms that reverberates out into communities or through generational lines.
What impact have you seen this program have on the community?
Indianapolis Teaching Fellows show impact in supporting Center Township schools with staffing vacancies; especially, in high need subject areas.
What does justice in education mean to you?
To me, justice in education means freedom to dream and pursue one’s aspirations.
What makes this program so special?
The new and returning Pre-Service Training Staff make this program so special as the talent is immense in Indianapolis.
What keeps you motivated in this work?
Scholars are who keeps me motivated in this work; ‘my why.’
